DONATIONS

The Inn at Village Square is a non-profit Assisted Living Facility which is owned and operated by Avesta Housing.

The mission of the Inn at Village Square is to provide the highest quality of assisted living services in a nurturing environment designed to enhance quality of life and to provide “peace of mind” to each resident as well as their respective family members. The Inn at Village Square, located in Gorham, Maine, serves seniors who are sixty-two years and older, of all financial abilities, in a manner that promotes independence and respects personal dignity.

We take great pride in our commitment to providing the same high quality services to our residents whether they pay privately or through MaineCare (Medicaid). Since the Inn at Village Square opened its doors in 1999, we have never discharged a resident when their funds were depleted.

MaineCare only pays for a portion of our actual cost to provide services. Contributions through our “Planned Giving Program” play an important role in allowing the Inn at Village Square to bridge this gap allowing us to continue to provide the same high quality of services regardless of a resident’s payment source.

We are asking you to help us help our seniors who are such a valuable component of our society. The Inn at Village Square, a division of Village Square Housing Corporation, is a non-profit, 501(c) 3 organization and contributions are tax deductible.

To make an online donation, simply click the “DONATE NOW” button. You will be automatically taken to the Village Square Housing Corporation’s "Network for Good" website. This site is totally secure and allows you to submit donations directly to the Inn at Village Square (a division of Village Square Housing Corp.) in a completely safe manner.

Please make the check payable to “Inn at Village Square” and indicate on the check or in a separate letter “To pay for expenses not covered by MaineCare”.

Pay Tribute to a Special Person

Pay tribute to a special person in a meaningful way by making a gift in that person’s name to the Inn at Village Square. We will notify them of your generosity.

This method of tribute is also very appropriate as a memorial gift, rather than sending flowers or other traditional expressions of sympathy. The closest family member or other person of your choice will be notified of your thoughtful tribute.
