VOLUNTEERING

Volunteer opportunities are plentiful at the Inn at Village Square. Volunteering your time and a little energy is a wonderful and fulfilling way to help others. It is often said that volunteers receive more than they give.

Whether you volunteer for one hour a month or ten hours a week, your contribution will be very much appreciated by the residents at the Inn. Our full-time Activities Director coordinates the Volunteer Program and is very flexible in arranging a schedule and activity that works for you.

Some of the things our volunteers do include: playing games; leading an activity; reading to a resident or group of residents; discussing past and present events; joining residents on a trip or other activity away from the Inn; playing an instrument; singing; talking and listening. In essence, what it comes down to is providing some level of companionship. Experience is not necessary, only a willingness to share yourself with others.

We welcome groups, individuals, and those interested in fulfilling their community service requirements. For information on becoming a volunteer at the Inn at Village Square, contact:
